Position Summary
This remote, bilingual (Spanish) position plays a critical role in supporting our families’ needs by applying for public benefits like Medicaid and food stamps and helping them use their health insurance. The Member Support Specialist navigates state systems efficiently and guides families through the confusing process of applying for benefits and using them.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Support: Answer calls, texts from family members, assisting them through the process of applying for benefits or answering any questions they have
- State Benefit Assistance: Utilize healthcare-specific systems to process applications and verify benefits (previous knowledge not required)
- Document Management: Collect and upload member documents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in call centers, customer service, or data processing
- Familiarity with Medicaid systems and processes is a plus!
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Zendesk
- Applicants must reside in TX, PA, MD, NJ, DC, or NC.

Schedule and Benefits

- Friday-Tuesday
Compensation:
- Full-Time: $18-21hr
